Wow, mentioned twice in one post. I guess you could say things are getting serious.
I can definitely see how these shows would be a disappointment when you have read and loved the books. Unless I've already read it, I try and not read the source books on anything until after I watch the show/movie. I did that with GoT, and several others, and was able to thoroughly enjoy both. But with as much as you read, I'm guessing that's probably not usually possible. |

"Getting" serious? Are you just trying to sweep our past under the rug now, mister? After I gave you some of the best years of my life? I feel so cheap and used.
My reading time has been cut way back, so at least now there's a change that I may see future TV adaptations of good books that I haven't read. But the question is this: if I haven't read, and enjoyed, the source material, will I even care about watching it?
We need to go have lunch. |
