Wow, mentioned twice in one post. I guess you could say things are getting serious.
I can definitely see how these shows would be a disappointment when you have read and loved the books. Unless I've already read it, I try and not read the source books on anything until after I watch the show/movie. I did that with GoT, and several others, and was able to thoroughly enjoy both. But with as much as you read, I'm guessing that's probably not usually possible.

"Getting" serious? Are you just trying to sweep our past under the rug now, mister? After I gave you some of the best years of my life? I feel so cheap and used.
My reading time has been cut way back, so at least now there's a change that I may see future TV adaptations of good books that I haven't read. But the question is this: if I haven't read, and enjoyed, the source material, will I even care about watching it?
We need to go have lunch.
